You may be asking… Why Asia?
Christian persecution is on the rise in Asia. North Korea tops the World Watch List for the 18th year in a row for extreme Christian persecution. Countries such as China, India, Algeria, and Mali have moved up on the list, showing an increase in Christian persecution across all of Asia. India moved up to the 10th spot for extreme Christian persecution, having been ranked 28th just a few years ago. Across Asia the persecution comes from governments as well as other extreme religious fundamentalist such as the Hindu.

Across Asia Christianity is ranked 6th out of the 7 major religions. Hinduism comes in 1st with over 25% of the Asian population. Islam is 2nd with over 1.1 billion followers. The 3rd largest population with 21% is the unaffiliated or agnostic/atheists. Buddhism is 4th with over 11% of the population. Christianity is even beaten out by “folk religions” or regional religions that are scattered across Asia and are based on superstitions and traditions. With a population of almost 4.5 billion people it is vital for the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach this population.

Our Mission
To see new tribes and villages reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the support of indigenous pastors and workers.
United Frontiers Missions was started after numerous visits starting in 2011 to countries throughout Asia that are deprived of the Gospel. Seeing the need for church planting and a desire of indigenous believers in Christ to share the Gospel, it became the vision of UFM to support, equip, and train local pastors and workers to reach their own people. Currently we are supporting one indigenous Church Planter for over 4 years. Our long term vision is to be able to support 50 individual church planters, which would equate to 50 different church plants working at the same time.
Click the button to the right to see the mission field progress and how the Lord has blessed. It is our desire to keep you up to date as to what we are doing to reach our long term goals. However, as important as reaching goals are towards progress, the most important thing we want to highlight is how God is working. “To God be the glory, great things He has done…”
