You may be asking… Why Asia?
Christian persecution is on the rise in Asia. North Korea tops the World Watch List for the 18th year in a row for extreme Christian persecution. Countries such as China, India, Algeria, and Mali have moved up on the list, showing an increase in Christian persecution across all of Asia. India moved up to the 10th spot for extreme Christian persecution, having been ranked 28th just a few years ago. Across Asia the persecution comes from governments as well as other extreme religious fundamentalist such as the Hindu.

Across Asia Christianity is ranked 6th out of the 7 major religions. Hinduism comes in 1st with over 25% of the Asian population. Islam is 2nd with over 1.1 billion followers. The 3rd largest population with 21% is the unaffiliated or agnostic/atheists. Buddhism is 4th with over 11% of the population. Christianity is even beaten out by “folk religions” or regional religions that are scattered across Asia and are based on superstitions and traditions. With a population of almost 4.5 billion people it is vital for the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach this population.

Our Mission
To see new tribes and villages reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the  support of indigenous pastors and workers.

United Frontiers Missions was started after numerous visits starting in 2011 to countries throughout Asia that are deprived of the Gospel. Seeing the need for church planting and a desire of indigenous believers in Christ to share the Gospel, it became the vision of UFM to support, equip, and train local pastors and workers to reach their own people. Currently we are supporting one indigenous Church Planter for over 4 years. Our long term vision is to be able to support 50 individual church planters, which would equate to 50 different church plants working at the same time.

Click the button to the right to see the mission field progress and how the Lord has blessed. It is our desire to keep you up to date as to what we are doing to reach our long term goals. However, as important as reaching goals are towards progress, the most important thing we want to highlight is how God is working. “To God be the glory, great things He has done…”

We recently received updates this update from one of our missionaries named Santeo.  The Lord is greatly blessing his work. Following is his ministry update:

By God’s grace we met four new villages in last three months.  These villages have no church and totally non  belivers staying here.   Gospel was preached by street preaching and visting each and every house in the villages. We prayed three weeks continoualy for this work.  Fasting prayer was conducted in every Friday also.  Both  brothers and sisters in the church went for the gospel work.  Brothers used their two wheelers and sister were transported by a localy hired autorickshaw.  God used totally 17 belivers in preaching gospel in these villages.   Only in one village  we faced obstacles by local religious leaders, but otherwise people in all other  villages eagerly received the gospel.  We prayed for so many families and for sick persons and God delivered so many people.  Also follow up work was done in three other villages  In our  previous visits we had prayed for so many sick and for persons affected by evil spirit. So many were delivered  and gave testimonies this time.  In last three months totally eight persons accepted Jesus Christ and took water Baptism by village gospel work and personal gospel work.  Glory to God.
I thank our Lord who helped us with all blessings till now. Meanwhile me and my family are grateful to you for the loving support in Christ.  I thank you for your support to us with which you do by divine love and it is very useful to me and our ministry.  By the grace of God me and my family were doing well in previous months.  My wife is very supportive in gospel work.  She is very useful in edifying new comers among ladies.  By conducting special prayer meeting and  family fellowship meeting she is encouraging church ladies.  My second son Daniel who is studying seventh standard is very useful in helping me in church activities and also he is sharing gospel with his classmates. My elder daughter Emi studying eight standard is very active and she brought a new family to the church who is her classmate.  Last month she suffered with ear pain due to cold and she was down.  But by His grace and according to the scripture I peter 2 : 24 God healed her.  Also one of my aunty accepted Lord Jesus Christ and she took water baptism last month along with others.

God of glory lead us wonderfully in the last three months.  We thank Lord for the blessings in the ministry.  God gave us grace to meet new souls, preach gospel in new villages and conduct new training programs in last three months. I also thank Lord who met all the needs for this meetings and gospel work. In the month of November we conducted a special prayer seminar and family fellowship meeting for ladies. Counseling was given for better family relationships and prayer life.  My wife conducted prayer and God used me in counseling.  We could see the edification in between church families by this meeting.  In the month of December we met new houses and new villages by using Christmas carol rounds.  By using children program and carols gospel was preached in many new villages. On Christmas day special children program and cultural program was conducted in our church.  We invited almost 300 new persons in various villages and offered them a good meal and preached gospel on Christmas day.  Also God helped us to give new dresses to needy people.  On December 12, I attended a soul winning camp in a town which was very useful to me.  I learnt some new things in soul winning for this new ages. A church believer and his wife who is believer for last three years, had now committed to ministry.  They started a new house prayer fellowship in their village.  In Sunday evenings they conduct children program also.  Three new families attend their house prayer meeting.  Glory to God.  Also a believer named Arun who is coming to the church for last five years had commited to gospel ministry with his family.   They are very useful in gospel ministry and also in church maintenance works.  Kindly remember these families in your prayer.

Read this exciting testimony of a local 34 year old man named Rasper

Previous Life before accepting Christ : Rasper was from a local religious family totally without any believer.  He was in Idol worship.  He also practiced  craft and eagerly attended all festivals in local temple.  But he is also addicted to alcohol. So his wife left him and  he was living a lonely life without any peace. So he was depressed and having no peace in his life. His is  totally addicted and living seven years without his family and depressed. How he accepted Jesus Christ : When we were doing a follow up work in the village Galvesper, his mother invited us for prayer in her house.  At that time Rasper was in bed with sickness and also depressed.  We as a Church prayed together. We  invited them to attend the Church.  Next week the whole family came to the Church.  After attending four weeks of  Church service he was totally delivered. Change in Life after salvation: Now Rasper is continuously attending Church service.  His wife came back and they were united and leading a peaceful life.  Last month he took water baptism. Now he is also involving in Church ministry works. He was  totally delivered from alcohol addiction, idol worship and sickness. Now this family is regularly attending Church.
Training Program
Usually when you think of a missionary organization you think about the traveling outside the country. You think of the missionary as the one in the country and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While we do this, traveling to Asia isn’t all we do.

Our trips to Asia are with a purpose on not simply sharing the Gospel. We spend the time training and equipping local Christian Leaders. After all, who better to share the message of Jesus than someone who understands the local traditions and cultural differences. The local leaders we train have a deep passion and desire to share the Gospel with their own people. Many times this includes close family and friends.

Along with training local Christian leaders we also sponsor several children in their efforts to get an education. We take for granted the many educational opportunities we have in the United States. In many parts of the world the government does not give any support to a child’s education. It is completely on the family to financially support their child’s educational needs. Because of this, the majority of children in many parts of the world do not graduate school. They are required to join the work force and provide for their family. We at United Frontier Missions believe helping with a child’s education is vital as they will become the next generation of Christian Leaders in their community.

Your continued financial support is essential in continuing our support in these two vital areas. It is our goal to raise $20,000.00 annually so we can provide year long support to our local leaders and children. So we ask that you consider supporting our efforts with your prayers and a financial gift of any amount.
Partnership
We all have busy lives. We all have a budget and limitations on how much we can spend and what we can do. Supporting a missionary work is no different. Maybe you desire to help but your budget only allow a one time gift. A one time gift is gladly accepted. The widow gave the mite. This was a blessing to God because it was all she could give and she gave with a heart of worship.
Maybe the Lord has been dealing with you about becoming a  partner who can give a monthly contribution to our work. You have looked at your budget and decided that $5.00 spent on a cup of coffee every morning could be better used to share the Gospel.
You might be a leader in your church who is looking for a missionary work for the church to support. We encourage church partnerships. A church partnership allows for the individual person who is limited in their means to come together as a church body and provide the biggest “bang for the buck.”
